Hetty patiently awaiting the next train!

Spotted recently at Exeter St. Davids station, perched loyally beside a suitcase and patiently awaiting the next train, is Hetty—Wade Newmark’s faithful canine companion. As Managing Director of BN Care, Wade travels across the country to visit each of our care homes, bringing not only his leadership but also a comforting presence that has become something of a celebrity in her own right: Hetty.

Whether it’s a stop at The Dales in Exeter, Bymead in Dorset, or Barton Place in Devon, Hetty is always greeted with open arms and smiling faces. Her calm nature, gentle curiosity, and endless affection make her an instant hit with residents, staff, and visiting families alike.
